This question always comes up - "Design Thinking is fine, but did Steve Jobs ask the customers what they want?". Probably he didn't. And we agree. We always believed and practiced that disruptive innovation can only happen at the intersection of design thinking and future thinking. There is a role that 'reading the customers mind ahead of time' is playing. Megatrend study is one powerful tool to do that.
