Ethnography is an assemblage of qualitative methods drawn from anthropology to closely observe a user/consumer interaction in close-to-real situation. It can be used to gauge insights about how a product or policy by studying peoples’ everyday conversations and behavior. Brand ethnography involves dynamically mapping perceptions in the market, competition as well as the workplace, to develop a consistent message and
structure for the brand.
Brand envisioning follows brand ethnography. Once we have a clear understanding of the brand-space; creating a brand vision, identity & related collaterals or services becomes a much easier. This also includes brand strategy- an effective way to uncover insights about current status of the brand to where it should head in future and how to get there.
